These Deleted Suicide Squad Scenes Were Excluded Even From The Extended Cut
Despite being on the screen all for 7 minutes of the theatrical cut, it was Jared Leto's Joker, and his abs that made all the news during and after the release of Suicide Squad.
While there were many who criticised his depiction of the criminal, there were also some who were outraged at the fact that Leto didn't get much screen time in the theatrical cut. One unhappy Reddit user even went as far as to sue Warner Bros. for including a misleading amount of Joker scenes in the trailer. Yeah, good luck on that one, bruh!
Regardless though, the news of the extended cut ignited hopes among many that they would finally get to see more of the Joker. Jared Leto himself revealed that there was enough footage to make a separate film based entirely on the life of the Joker.
The extended cut, although featuring a bit more of Leto, left a lot on the cutting room floor.
Luckily for us, an ardent fan scoured the trash from the cutting room floor to compile a footage of all the lost scenes, complete with detailed description of each scene. If only the team had put this much effort in the actual film.
